Taste Finnish delicacies - reindeer is a specialty of Lapland

Not all Finns have tasted reindeer meat, but reindeer can be served several times a week on the table of Lapland people.

The usual reindeer food is poronkäristys, which is eaten with mashed potatoes, pickles and lingonberries.

Reindeer is also made into soup and served as burgers. There's even a reindeer kebab on offer!

The delicacy of spring and winter is salty reindeer meat dried in the wind. This meat can also be used to make a soup called dried meat soup.
